Artigiano del Cuore 2019

There are experts who strive every day to preserve our valuable artistic heritage, so it can be passed on to future generations. And there are talented young people who work hard every day, to guarantee a future for crafts and traditions that could disappear without their efforts.
With the second edition of the online contest Artigiano del Cuore (“Artisan of the Heart”), we wanted to make great Italian masters of restoration known, as well as rising promises of artistic craftsmanship. Here are the winners:

Bruna Mariani, an expert in the restoration of gold and armours, came top of the Preserving Beauty category. The Paths to Excellence category was won by the bookbinding artist Serena Dominijanni and the painting restorer Carlotta Corduas.
In recognition of their achievement, No Panic agency has shot these short documentaries in which the winners tell their stories – both inside and outside of their workshops – showing their passion for their work and love for their home cities. They were also given a space to exhibit their work at the Fatti ad Arte (Made with Art) exhibition in Biella, in October 2019.
