Since the 19th century, the Dolces and the Sorrentinos, two families of Neapolitan artisans, have been working together in restoring and decorating precious wooden artefacts, antique furniture and frames. Today, their company, which has become an actual reference point in their trade, consists of experienced Masters working with expertise, passion and respect for art and historical, cultural values. In detail, they specialise in restoring and conserving antique furniture, as well as replicating frames from every period and creating miniature furniture, which can be used as precious jewellery boxes or collectors’ items. Carving, pure gold gilding or inlay decorations are the main feature of their beautiful works.
Furthermore, they can offer consultancy services, and perform diagnostics or anti-woodworm treatments.

Luca and Amedeo are a recent discovery and I adore their miniature furniture! I am grateful to the Roman architect who introduced them to me because I might never have met them in my life, not because I don't like Naples, but because “miniature furniture” evokes dolls' houses to me, not high cabinetmaking masterpieces like theirs. Both their knowledge of the history of furniture and their craftsmanship in replicating it in an appropriate scale are unbelievable, especially as they not only make the wooden parts, but also create castings featuring stone surfaces and antique marble.
