In the XVI century, textile production was an economic mainstay of the Republic of Genoa.
The story of the De Martini family dates back to that time and to this day, it still carries on its craft tradition.
Just like when the production first started, the cashmere and linen fabrics, the damasks, the lampas and the canvas for macramé, which are typical of this Region, are woven on old shuttle looms. Some of them are designed by the De Martini themselves.
The fibers that are used are all natural and certified by the Region of Liguria.
