Biagio Laera is an amazing craftsman, endowed with extraordinary creativity and technical skills. He started his activity as a “cobbler” at La Scala Theatre in 1967, specialising in the creation of stage shoes. His artistry is also appreciated abroad, as testified by the photos dedicated by foreign artists on display in his atelier. Today, he is sided by his children Miguel, Antonio and Nunzia. Together, they create a great variety of patterns, from the most eccentric evening sandals for Haute-Couture Shows to vintage shoes for theatre. They are all on display in his atelier, along with many templates, uppers, heels, leathers and textiles.
