The passion and enterprise of Antonio Lo Iacono was behind the establishment in 2008 of the Europargenti workshop in Palermo. Inspired by the ancient Sicilian silversmiths’ school, the workshop produces classical and modern silver decorative items and accessories, religious art works and traditional Sicilian articles, such as the ‘jatta’ and the samovar.
Appealing and unique shapes are created by expert craftspeople who beat, assemble, clean and chisel the products, with the focus on design. The result is beautiful, functional products that add a touch of luxury to our everyday lives. One interesting product is wedding favours, which are often created and personalised to initial designs by the client.
Europargenti also carries out restoration work, and can make faithful reproductions of fine pieces that may have suffered the passage of time.
