Evandro Gabrieli trained at the School of Ornamental Arts in Rome, specializing in ceramic sculpture. For a period he taught and popularized the trade, to then devote himself entirely to production in his workshop, where today he creates sculptures and objects with a style vowed to experimental and highly personal research, which recalls the shapes of the plant and organic kingdom. His workshop, which is in the capital’s Officine Ceramiche, is a co-working space for craftspeople, which he founded and which hosts courses and seminars on the art of ceramics. Evandro has taken part in several international competitions and his works have been exhibited in prestigious exhibition venues, such as the Reggia di Venaria, the Museum of Ceramics of Grottaglie and the Museum of the Botanical Gardens of Rome.
