Born in 1964, Ruggero Pallaoro fell in love with woodwork as a child, while watching his father who was a cabinet-maker. Born in Trento, he lived abroad for many years, until he decided to come back to Trentino and settle in the beautiful Valle dei Mòcheni. Boasting an already wide experience as a product designer, in 2006 he tested himself by creating his first modern design pots on the wheel or small objects, like fountain as well as roller or ballpoint pens.
Today, Ruggero creates unique, small-series pieces in wood, metal and stone, using the turning technique alongside texture sculpting and engraving techniques. An ongoing experimental process, aiming at innovation and harmonious simplicity, based on a crucial element: an uninterrupted dialogue with nature.
In his workshop, he also offers woodwork courses.
