Carlo Sacchi, a wood carver and antique wood restorer, established his atelier in 1968.
Today, his daughters Mariangela and Anna Sacchi are carrying forward his activity by restoring gold coatings, lacquers and polychromies on wood or other materials.
Among other commissions, they restored works for Sovrintendenza ai Beni Culturali, Museo Diocesano, Milan’s Triennale, Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio, Basilica di San Babila, Società Umanitaria, and Monza’s Musei Civici. From 1988 to 1998, they collaborated with artist and designer Bruno Munari, with whom they designed and created many art pieces. They have also constantly cooperated with leading collectors and antique dealers in Milan and across Italy.
