Valentina D’Amato, a textile designer of Sicilian origin, creates fabrics for home furnishings and fashion accessories. For her decorations, she draws inspiration from art, architecture, music, cinema and nature with its multiple forms and colours.
Unique cushions, foulards, scarves and textile belts are entirely handmade and accompanied by a guaranteed certificate bearing a series number and the original design of the decoration. For her works, D’Amato uses only Italian silks and different kinds of top-quality cotton. Hemmings are also made my hand, thus enhancing the value of each unique, strictly handmade item.
Besides Sicily, her creations have been showcased in Rome, Milan and Indonesia.
