Art historian and expert in applied arts
Born in Milan, she performs research work in the field of the history of art, specially from the XX century, and she is an expert in the Futurism Movement. She plans and cures exhibitions, also collaborating to the scientific realization of catalogues. Interested in the developments of the applied arts and of the Italian industrial design, she dedicated particular attention to the study of female artists’ work. Specifically, she has been studying the glass production of the XX century for many years, collaborating with the Glass Museum of Altare, in Liguria Region.
She dedicates particular attention to the organization of archives: she cooperated to the project of the historical Gallery of the Triennial and she is a curator of the Archives “Cesare Andreoni”, “Gabriella Benedini” and “Aldo Cerchiari”.
In 2016 she was member of the Committee of Experts for the project MAM – “Maestro d’Arte e Mestiere”, promoted by Fondazione Cologni dei Mestieri d’Arte.
