A&P Marmi is a craft firm specialising in the processing of marble, stone and granite, founded in 1977 in Taverna, in the Presila Catanzarese area of Calabria. Today the family tradition is carried forward by the second generation, which produces bespoke works, furnishings and cladding using locally sourced materials, combining creativity, authenticity and sustainability.

In addition to commissioned projects, the artisans of A&P Marmi also create collections of simple functional or decorative objects (small statues, gift items, bowls and vases) made from marble dust, a waste material that is recovered and given new value. Besides being an authentic and sustainable material, marble dust has aesthetic and tactile qualities similar to solid marble, while allowing for a significant reduction in the weight and cost of the objects.

The A&P Marmi website also features a blog entirely dedicated to the culture of marble and stone, with explanations of the characteristics of different types, historical and cultural insights into the use of stone in the history of art and architecture, practical maintenance guidance, and information on industry events.
