Monica Biassoni is an interior designer who has been working in the field of interior design for 35 years. Her on-the-job training started when she was young, when she started working in Milan-based architectural firms, between Eurostile and Did Industrial design, Barbieri, Marianelli and architect Busnelli, in the design of prestigious mansions.

Then she worked with leading companies in the contract sector, dedicating herself to projects involving 5 star hotels all over the world, such as The Four Season Hotels in Milan, the Mamilla Gerusalemm, the Adlon in Berlin and the Conservatorium in Amsterdam; as well as the boutiques of the most important brands, such as De Beers on the V Avenue of New York, Brioni in Milan, then Armani, Ferragamo and Dunhill.

Her mentor, the designer Lisa Weber, introduced her to the Jewish community and their culture, which then Monica Bassioni included in her projects: she thinks that the house has to reflect the the way of being of the person who lives there, their values, what they love and their ambitions.

Today, in her studio “MonicaBiassoni Milano”, she works as a cultural mediator and ambassador of the Made in Italy, representing Jewish culture in the accurate design of private mansions,
availing of the valuable collaboration of the most important Italian master artisans, and working between Milan, Paris and Israel. In her projects, which have been pusblished on important magazines such as Dcasa, Ville&Casali, Suite and OffArch, she harmonically blends the Italian and the Jewish culture, by enhancing beauty, design and craftsmanship.

The finest collectors of Contemporary and Futurist art of all times and leading museums all have their picture frames made by Girotto. Indeed, together with Paolo Girotto, we thought of creating “special” frames for “special” or significant works from private collections. Not only antique frames and reproductions of frames from various periods and skilfully created with unique craftsmanship but also one-off and custom-made pieces for the most refined and discerning collectors.
