Arcaini is a craft tailor workshop in Bergamo.
Here they create menswear, especially shirts, but also jackets and suits, vests or even more casual garments, all made-to-measure and customizable in every detail.
Owner and master tailor Luigi Arcaini puts his sartorial competence at his clients’ disposal, involving them in each phase of the garment’s making. According to the customer’s needs and expectations, they start with choosing the colours and fabrics among their vast catalogue, which includes several types of wools, cachemire, linen and silk blends. They then take measurements and proceed to create the paper-pattern. Finally, the suit takes shape thanks to several skilful manual processes, first of which is tracing the shape of the patterns onto the fabric with chalk. Fabrics are then cut, assembled and sewn according to traditional tailoring techniques, and after about two working weeks, the garment is ready to be fitted. The result is a truly unique piece of clothing, made-to-measure according to the taste and style of those who will wear it.
