After graduating from the Artistic Lyceum Greppi in Novara, Enrica Benetello started her higher studies at Art School where she met maestro Cesare Mussi and worked with him for some years. She then specialised in the restoration of frescos, mosaics and paintings, falling in love with the infinite possibilities of colour. She then opened her own atelier EdelArt in Castellazzo Novarese. Today Enrica dyes fabric mainly in silk using diverse techniques that she experimented and perfected over the years. Foulards, scarves, brooches and other fashion accessories are decorated with floral fantasies and other abstract motifs and colours inspired by the plant world. Her creations are treated and coloured entirely by hand following a slow and meticulous process typical of authentic hand-crafted objects.
