Laura Cadelo Bertrand is a sculptor and goldsmith with a workshop in Bologna. She has a truly multidisciplinary training and experience: she graduated in mime from the Ecole Internationale de Mimodrame Marcel Marceau in Paris, she has worked as a stage designer, choreographer, actress and dancer, and also director of the Teatro Astoria in Fiorano Modenese from 2005 to 2006. At the same time, she co-founded the Atelier Viaduegobbitre in Reggio Emilia, an artistic collective that organises exhibitions and events. In parallel, in 1997 she also cultivated another great passion: working in metal, sculpting and jewellery design. In her workshop, she creates furnishing articles, sculptures and jewellery in brass, copper and aluminium, all one-of-a-kind and with an eclectic and highly original design. She has exhibited her works internationally, from Italy and Latvia to the USA and Lebanon.
