Valeria Sacchi Boncompagni is a jewellery artisan and designer born in Milan and raised between the Lombard capital and Venice, the city to which she moved immediately after graduating to pursue her creative path. She works in the family boutique in Piazza San Marco, founded by her grandfather in the 1920s as an antiques shop and later transformed by her mother into a jewellery store, a place that represents for her, at once, roots, home and workshop.
Here, in close contact with precious metals and gemstones and through encounters with sculptors, artists, goldsmiths, and talented designers, she learned the craft and refined her sensitivity. After completing her artistic studies and discovering the lost-wax casting technique, she began creating jewelry as true wearable sculptures, distinguished by a unique and strongly expressive design. Each creation is born from an emotion, a personal experience, or the inspiration offered by Venice, with its architectural ornaments, soft light, and the sound of water.
Alongside her production, Valeria devotes great attention to the transmission of artisanal knowledge: during the school year she brings her workbench into schools, teaching younger generations the value of manual work and creativity, with the aim of preserving and renewing the goldsmithing tradition. In addition, she offers private workshops focused on lost-wax casting, aimed at both beginners and professionals in the field.
