1955 is a company with a dual soul: on the one hand the company makes its articles in collaboration with firms and important designers, on the other, with the Occhialeria Artigiana and PRIMUS projects, it makes unique products or in a limited edition, wholly by hand. What the two directions taken by the firm have in common is the very high craftsmanship and refined design; in the showroom there are collections and unique pieces with an unmistakable style. Each phase of the production process is carried out with attention to the tiniest detail, from the selection of the materials to the cut, but without forgetting innovation. The craftsmanship of 1955 is projected towards research: in collaboration with an American company, the firm is experimenting with new materials to create products that are completely biodegradable or derived from recycled raw materials.
