Alegria’s high-end costume jewellery, the artisanal brand founded by Milan-born Alessandra Nembrini in Pula, in the province of Cagliari, immediately stands out for the boldness of its design, the expressiveness of its colours, and the striking visual impact of its creations.
All the jewels – earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets and brooches – are unique pieces in both shape and colour, created by Alessandra using materials of varied and sometimes surprising origin: semi-precious stones, mother-of-pearl, resins, wood, crystals, hand-painted ceramics, coral and lace, to name but a few. At the heart of each piece lies the soutache technique, a decorative braid that allows different components to be assembled together while maintaining strong aesthetic unity and ensuring lightness and versatility.
The inspiration behind Alegria’s creations stems from Alessandra’s passion for jewellery, as well as from her travels, nature and the sea. It is also possible to contact her to commission a completely bespoke and personalised piece; as in the case of her special collection “EssenziAle”, this may even begin with a tarot reading, resulting in a bijoux that is not merely an accessory but a representation of a person’s essence.
