Andrea Kotliarsky is a ceramist from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She moved to Faenza (Ravenna) in 2000, after winning a scholarship granted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to attend an advanced course at “G. Ballardini” Ceramic Art School. Today she owns a workshop in downtown Faenza, where she crafts artistic and decorative ceramics and unique pieces in her own distinctive style, mainly employing the majolica technique. Her functional, sculptural or decorative objects, gadgets and home decors stand out for their bright colours, a reminiscence of her South-American roots, and are able to bring joy and cheerfulness to any environment. Thanks to her constant research for new decorative techniques, Andrea is able to create custom objects with a unique, fun and original style. In her studio she also offers moulding, lathe and decoration classes.
