Andreina Brengola is a jewelry artisan and designer born and raised in Venice. In 2013 she founded her brand, AB – Andreina Brengola, launching a personal exploration within the field of contemporary jewelry. She works in her private studio overlooking the Venetian lagoon, on Fondamenta dei Tolentini, where each piece is entirely handcrafted.
Her practice is based exclusively on the use of aluminum rings and elastic steel wire, materials she has studied and experimented with for years. The rings are not ready-made industrial components: Andreina manually extracts them by opening chains, resulting in elements that are all slightly different from one another. She does not begin with preparatory drawings; instead, she allows the making process to guide the final form, embracing imperfection as both value and distinctive trait. Each jewel is unique, lightweight, and conceived to be worn over time.
Her creations have been selected by institutions and cultural venues such as the Museum of Art and Design in New York, DFS Fondaco dei Tedeschi in Venice, and the bookshops of several Venetian art museums. Alongside her production, Andreina Brengola is involved in projects related to fashion and sustainable design, in Italy and abroad, and opens her atelier by appointment for workshops or visits from clients and enthusiasts.
