Anseo is a project by Elisa Cattani. After graduating in Sculpture from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna, she continued her training by following courses in Incision Technique and Porcelain Decoration at the same academy, then at ISIA and MIC in Faenza. Today she shares the Studio Loom with other craft professionals in a coworking space dedicated to craftsmanship and creativity where one of a kind pieces are produced as well as the venue for training programmes and workshops. Taking inspiration from nature’s forms but also influenced by her experiences, Elisa creates jewels and decorative ornaments in her essential and elegant style. Each piece is unique and created entirely in majolica, stoneware, or porcelain. Her precious objects are embellished in a third firing with gold, platinum or copper glaze.
