The traditional leather workshop Coryum in the heart of Cerveteri was born from the passion of Massimiliano, a craftsman with twenty years experience in the working of leather. After opening his own shoe repair laboratory in 1990, Massimiliano founded his present workshop in 2016 which now creates a series of leather products and other made-to-measure articles for discerning clients. All products are made entirely by hand, from the initial cutting to the final buffing, stitching and dying of the skins. The workshop produces a series of eco-sustainable fashion accessories in plant-tanned leather using water-based glues with linings in biological cotton. All articles are one-off pieces, often commissioned by clients or produced according to a client’s specific design.
