Efelidi is a craft textile project and workshop located in Nonantola, near Modena, where tailor and textile designer Elisa Silvestri weaves handmade garments on horizontal looms, the old-fashioned way. Elisa fell in love with this world playing with her grandmother’s laces and yarns: her childhood was filled with fabrics, colourful strings and imagination.
In 2020, while the whole world was on pause, Elisa found herself “pulling the strings” of her experiences and decided to open her own business: a project that would allow her to combine her passion and talent. Each garment is fully customizable and completely handmade employing unique fabrics made of natural fibres only, and is designed with great attention to sustainability. Efelidi is a sartorial atelier dedicated to those who love a refined and timeless aesthetic, but also a place where historical artistic trades come together.
