Vetreria Artistica EFFE was founded in Murano in 1982 by Walter Furlan, after gaining experience working alongside the best master glass makers of the 50ies and 60ies.
Today the furnace is managed by his son Mario, who learned the secrets of glass from his father and creates vases and sculptures of the highest quality, carefully finished down to the very last detail. Each piece is processed at a very high temperature and later finished in a grinding facility, but new techniques are constantly experimented in the workshop, yet always abiding by Murano’s tradition. Among many available collections, the most popular is the one inspired by the artworks of famous artists such as Picasso, Mirò and Modigliani: a tribute to modern art, where colors and details are emphasized by the three dimensional qualities of glass. Each item is marked by the company brand and signed by the master, to guarantee the quality and authenticity of every piece.
