EstroDiverso is a craft brand created by Valentina Bonafè. On the Island of Giudecca, in Venice, she creates truly unique handbags and accessories using carefully selected vintage or reclaimed materials: fishing nets, wool fringes from old Venetian gondolas’ cushions and hides intended for nautical furnishings are only a few of the materials she uses to give life to unusual and original handbags, little works of art.
Valentina is endowed with great creativity, technical skills and profound knowledge of fabrics and other materials, thanks to her long-standing experience in the world of craftsmanship, first working in the field of textile furnishing of Venetian palaces, later in nautical upholstery, an activity which she stills engages in today, managing her own company Hydromirò.
Her handbags are the result of her keen eye for salvaged textiles and technical nautical fabrics, which are rarely or hardly ever used in the creation of handbags, and are here exalted to the fullest extent of their qualities. Valentina has always drawn inspiration from the city of Venice, its charm and history.
