In 1932 Giuseppe Gaggioli took over the company of Velluti Zoagli and founded Tessitura Gaggioli. Ten years later, however, the factory was bombed; Giuseppe then set up his workshop on the first floor of his home, continuing to run the business with the help of his son Sergio. Since 2000, the workshop has been run by his grandchildren, Giuseppe and Paola, who have inherited all the experience and secrets of craft weaving: silks, velvets and brocades made by hand, but also fabrics made using modified mechanical looms. The workshop offers its clients a wide choice of refined and exclusive luxury products of very high quality, from accessories for the home and for fashion, such as scarves, bags and clutches.
