Sergio and Massimo Boldrin are brothers. They run a little workshop in Venice, next to the Rialto Bridge, where beautiful masks have been created since 1984.
They are made in papier-mâché and represent classical characters of Commedia dell’Arte, fine shapes of Moon and Sun or medieval and fantastic figures, such as jesters and elves.
These artisans work on commission in several fields, such as theatre, cinema, fashion, and the Carnival of Venice. Their masks are presented in numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad and they appeared in many famous spectacles and movies, like “Eyes wide shut” by Stanley Kubrick. Collectors and enthusiasts from all over the world visit this magic workshop.
