Mariagioia Maffucci is a ceramist and goldsmith specialized in creating contemporary and artistic jewels made out of porcelain, ceramic and precious metals.
Always passionate about art, in 2015 she opened her workshop in Pistoia, where she creates her collections, inspired by nature. Over time, thanks both to advanced courses and to her personal and constant research and experimentation, she perfected her knowledge of material processing, goldsmithing and enamelling techniques, which allow her to skilfully combine goldsmithing and ceramics in order to create unconventional jewellery.
Every single component of her jewellery is entirely handmade, from moulding to assembling, employing carefully selected techniques, finishes and materials, with the purpose of giving life to harmonious and refined designs. Each creation has its own identity, as a result of Mariagioia’s passion for art and artistic craftsmanship as a mean of expression.
