Naturarte is a craft bookbinding workshop located in Biella. It was founded in 2013 by Elena Cravello and Barbara Caneparo after 20 years of experience in managing historical archives. Their passion for books and paper brought them to combine their skills in order to give life to an atelier where they craft notebooks, notepads, albums and other office and desk accessories. Each item is handmade employing a variety of binding techniques and the best fabrics from Biella. They draw their inspiration from the surrounding territory and its cultural heritage, which Naturarte aims to celebrate: pads and notebooks are in fact inspired, for example, by the historic volumes of textile samples books of Biella’s wool mills.
Elena and Barbara also provide cataloguing, reorganizing and managing services for historical archives, art and photography collections and they also organize tours and other activities for those who wish to discover the culture and history of Biella’s territory.
