Nodo is a project by Clara Arpini: with a background in the humanities, she is a self-taught weaver and she started her brand in 2014. A project came into being that was based on the rediscovery and development of the craft tradition, reinterpreted through fresh and young eyes. The classic techniques of making straw-bottom chairs and weaving were joined by a modern taste for contemporary design which, taking advantage of the infinite possibilities of weft and weave, gives rise to countless textures and evocative material contrasts. In her workshop in Cassano d’Adda furnishing elements, such as chairs and coffee tables, dividing walls, balustrades and parapets, and accessories for the home, such as lampshades, baskets, looms and fabrics, made with yarns in various materials, woven exclusively by hand and directly on the structures are available.
