Nuno Milano is a brand of fashion accessories founded by Nadia Bonamici, artisan and designer specializing in textile products. She creates scarves, foulards, jackets and other garments in seamless and completely handmade “nuno felt”, by using the peculiar and little-known technique of felt. After a long career in advertising, Nadia discovered her passion for fabrics and craftsmanship, and decided to give life to her project. Today in her workshop and showroom in Milan, in the Bovisa district, Nadia combines wool, silk, viscose and natural fibres with water and soap, thus turning them in precious wearable fabrics and creating elegant and refined garments in “nuno felt”. Her fabrics are textured and sensory, smooth and rough, light and heavy at the same time: they are made to be touched indeed, before being worn or looked at.
