Panetta Tailor is a craft tailor shop located in Rome. The workshop is the result of Master Vito Panetta’s passion for sartorial art. Born in Roccanova, in Basilicata region, Vito showed interest for the trade from the age of 9, when he started his first apprenticeship; but it was in Naples that he got the chance to really fine-tune his talent, under the guidance of master Schiraldi, and later attending the “Scuola Napoletana di Taglio” (Neapolitan School of Cutting). In 1949 he opened his atelier in Roccanova. A few years later he moved to Rome and carried on his activity alongside his wife Rosa Miraglia Panetta.
Today, after more than 70 years, in his workshop and showroom in Via Puglie, they still create suits, shirts and other accessories for men and women the old fashioned way: entirely by hand and made-to-measure. Owning a Panetta suit means dressing up with elegance and having in your closet a piece of clothing of the utmost craft quality.
