Born into a family of artisans and decorators from the Varese area, Mauro Nicora has been working on conserving and restoring cultural heritage for over three decades. After an apprenticeship with Florentine Master fresco painter Dino Cellini, he returned to Varese to set up his own business with a team of accomplished collaborators and his wife Paola, who is surveying the study and research activities preceding any action.
Besides reclaiming and maintaining the buildings, the firm performs paintings and frescoes
featuring religious themes and decorations from scratch in the requested style. For these works, Nicora applies an innovative system measuring and virtually prototyping the space to be decorated, providing an approximate preview of its final appearance.
