Roberta Risolo is a goldsmith from Otranto, near Lecce.
She graduated from “Nino della Notte” Art School, specializing in the Art of Metals and Goldsmithry. Later she moved to Vicenza, where she attended further training courses and worked for prestigious jewellery companies.
She moved back to Salento and opened her studio, an authentic craft workshop focused on researching in the field of metals and showcasing her homeland through her jewellery. Here she personally designs and crafts her creations, inspired by the landscape of Salento and even using typical local materials, such as olive wood and stone from Lecce. She took part in several group and personal exhibitions and in 2013 she created, on commission, the commemorative medals for the Canonization of the Martyrs of Otranto. Since 2014 she teaches Jewellery Design at “R. Calcagnile” Fashion Academy, in Lecce.
