Silvia Logi is a decorator based in Florence. Her artistic journey as a self-taught artist originated from the intuition that materials found in nature could become the elements of her artworks, combined in ever-changing shapes to give life to mosaics and other artefacts.
Her inspiration comes from the natural world and the observation of its perfection. The elements used in her creations are enhanced, while still being recognizable: an acorn can become an owl’s eye, a pine cone the fin of a fish.
Thus, starting in 2006, within a short time her passion became a profession: pairing different materials, natural and artificial, such as iron scraps, buttons or mirrors, with a great sense of both playfulness and harmony, making the most of the endless possibilities of wood, Silvia invented her own expressive language, which shines through her paintings and decorative panels. Fairy tales and legends, unlikely and surreal landscapes, extravagant animals and dreamlike cities come to life starting from wooden boards and reclaimed fixtures.
Silvia showcased her artwork at important trade fairs and exhibitions and her creations are sold all over the world.
