Stefano Gibertoni & Valerio Nalin are two luthiers specializing in the creation and restoration of string instruments. In their workshop in Milan they craft violins, violas and cellos, implementing the techniques of traditional Italian lute-making, paying special attention to the study of 18th century Milanese models.
Great care is devoted to sound performance: in order to achieve the best possible quality, each part of the instrument is measured, tested and categorized, so as to create a detailed archive of parameters such as density, elasticity and sound conduction. Their instruments won prizes in several international competitions and are played and appreciated by musicians and collectors all over the world.
