In Florence, where art has been intertwined with everyday life for centuries, Florence Art was founded in 1950 as a wood carving workshop, deeply rooted in the tradition of Tuscan craftsmanship and in the city’s enduring culture of beauty, from Santa Croce to the Medici villas. It is here that a coherent, family-led path of growth has taken shape, now reaching its second generation, evolving over time without ever losing touch with its origins.

Specialising in the Florentine style, the company designs and produces furniture and decorative pieces entirely in carved wood, from mirrors to beds, consoles to complete systems for living, sleeping, and bathroom spaces. Each piece begins with an in-house design, takes form through the manual carving of the model, and is then developed through the shared expertise of carvers, pantograph operators, and skilled woodworkers.

Decoration, entrusted to Florentine artisan workshops, is the moment when each object acquires its identity: water gilding, gold and silver leaf, patinas, and polychrome finishes bring depth and character, making every creation unique. Bridging ancient techniques and contemporary sensibilities, Florence Art reinterprets historical styles—from the Renaissance to Art Nouveau—transforming them into interiors that evoke memory, elegance, and continuity.
