Antonella Cimatti is an acclaimed ceramist from Faenza, member of IAC – International Academy of Ceramics. Her home decors, artistic installations and design items are made of porcelain and advanced ceramic materials and, thanks to her filigree and slip casting technique, are endowed with lightness and immateriality. The ceramist also creates mural installations with light items or wooden frames, and she uses lamps and optical fibre as well. She taught ceramic design in Faenza from 1979 to 2017 and took part in workshops and residencies all over the world, from India to Japan, from England to the United States and China. In 2011 she was invited at Venice 54th Biennale and in 2016 at Triennale Milano.
