Aurelia Salzano is a brand specializing in handmade fashion accessories.
In her workshop in Pontecagnano Faiano, near Salerno, Aurelia personally crafts custom bow-ties and refined foulards, starting with the design and selection of the best fabrics, all the way to hand-stitching.
Her work is driven by a tireless pursuit of beauty and a great passion, deeply rooted in her childhood: as a child, she used to watch her grandmother sewing with her Singer machine and was captivated by the skill with which she mended clothes. Thus, she started creating clothes for her dolls using her grandmother’s fabric scraps and laces, and as a teenager she gave life to her first brand, with handmade labels.
For her, playing with colours and fabrics in order to bring her ideas to life was an untameable instinct: thus, years later, she created the brand that bears her name.
Her accessories are a combination of deep aesthetic research and prime choice materials; as well as the result of a process based on patience, precision and great attention to detail. Her goal is to make everyone feel unique and free to express their personality; to be daring, but with class, in order to feel like a timeless elegance icon.
