Ideas taking shape through clay

Brelyart is Elisa Arlandi’s brand of artistic ceramics. The project was born in 2019 in Aosta, with the intention of giving life to a space dedicated to creative thinking and designing, where ideas could take shape through clay.
Thanks to ceramics and the time required by craft workmanship, Elisa learned to slow down and reconnect with nature: her ceramics remind us to stop, listen and appreciate the simple things, even in a world that goes faster and faster, in order to become aware of the importance of the here and now. This way, everyday life regains its precious and unique value. Elisa mostly crafts tableware made from high quality stoneware, in various colours and textures, and using non-toxic and lead-free glazes. Each piece is hand-moulded and hand-enamelled, and is thus one-of-a-kind. In her simple and minimalistic style the balance of volumes is crucial, while small imperfections in the material remain visible as a reminder of its organic nature.
