Carmelina Raco is a gifted tailor and designer: after more than twenty years of experience in men’s line tailoring, working as a seamstress and production manager for one of the most prestigious Italian couture designers, in 2019 she founded her own brand and sartorial method. In her Milan atelier, located in the Navigli area, she makes custom women’s clothing – jackets and outerwear in particular: her method consists in de-structuring the traditional outerwear design, freeing it from its rigid schemes in order to create a more universal style, rich in innovation and strong in identity. In her creations, feminine and masculine elements are perfectly balanced, textiles, nuances and details are carefully selected to ensure the final result matches each gender’s desired profile.
