Cartografica Visceglia is a historical cartography studio based in Rome and founded in 1929. Today the company is managed by the third generation cartographer Laura Ottaviani who, like previous generations, designs and prints geographical maps that can be personalised by dimension and colour. Each map is designed by hand and then printed on paper, wallpaper or any other support and can also be printed on objects. Delving into the company’s vast archive — declared of historical interest by the Ministry of Culture — or creating commissioned works, the company also prints maps for decorative elements and fashion accessories in collaboration with other craftsmen. In addition to the catalogue of products, bespoke articles can also be commissioned.
This activity has been listed in the National Register of Historical Enterprises, Category Artisanal Workshops.
