Claudia Marchioni started her path in the world of jewellery over 20 years ago, combining different materials, such as fabrics, wood, glass, iron, resins and crystals. The city of Florence, where she lives and works, and its history have always been at the core of her inspiration. In the last years she has been using mainly the ancient lost wax casting technique, for her unique jewels: her “Gioielli Metropolitani” have been designed for dynamic, elegant women, for everyday wear. Her creative research prompts her to experiment with various techniques as well as combine widely different materials: small bronze and brass structures are intertwined with textile and plastic materials, alternating with organic and geometrical shapes. A unique style, giving life to a new kind of costume jewellery, both classic and innovative, surprising but not diverting attention.
Claudia Marchioni has taken part in contemporary design events at Firenze “Visioni”, on the occasion of the “Mostra Internazionale dell’Artigianato”.
