Constance Schurch grew up in the south of Chile.
After studying design at university, she worked for several years in the design sector for important institutions in her country.
But office work was not for her and, attracted by manual work and craftsmanship, she began to learn goldsmithing techniques. In 2015, she won a competition and moved to Florence to learn the techniques of Italian haute joaillerie, alongside renowned Florentine goldsmiths.
Today, in her studio located in the “Casa dell’Orafo” (Goldsmith House), an evocative place a few steps away from Ponte Vecchio, she creates with her own hands unique and personalised jewelry, made exclusively to measure, mainly using the engraving technique. Each of her pieces embodies the rich heritage of traditional Florentine techniques, which Constance has learnt through patient study, research and much practice.
Her philosophy is to put the customer at the centre and to value human relationships, and her mission is to transform dreams into beautiful and timeless objects. Her jewellery thus becomes enduring symbols of happiness, capable of celebrating deep and meaningful moments.
This is why customers are involved in the creative process from the beginning, right up to delivery: in an fast-paced and increasingly automated world, Constance wants to value high craftsmanship and the bonds between people instead.
In 2024, she won the competition “Artigiano del Cuore“, an initiative by Fondazione Cologni that supports talented crafters to grow their business.
