Daniele Orlandi is an atelier based in Como specializing in womenswear, with the aim of creating high-quality garments through carefully selected and thoughtfully researched materials: practical and functional creations that do not forgo refinement, while maintaining an accessible and grounded approach. The project harmonizes the different stages of the creative process within a coherent vision, guided by respect for people, materials, and the environment.
The collections, designed to transcend seasons, incorporate a sense of timelessness: practical and feminine garments, crafted exclusively from natural fabrics using artisanal techniques. The objective is to create clothing conceived first and foremost for the person, through a style capable of enhancing a natural femininity, where practicality and elegance coexist in balance. The entire creative process is developed within the atelier through a precise and attentive approach: the knowledge of traditional craftsmanship engages with contemporary expertise, reinterpreting cuts, constructions, and volumes to shape an essential and enduring wardrobe.
Fabrics represent the core of the atelier’s research, guided by the desire to select materials that are distinctive, durable, and sustainable. This path, developed over time, has made it possible to build a network of artisans, professionals, and companies that are now an integral part of every creation. The selection favors suppliers devoted to high-quality production, capable of conveying identity, expertise, and passion: artisans, family-run businesses, and historic companies united by high quality standards and a strong commitment to sustainability. Daniele Orlandi works exclusively with natural fibers, choosing refined linens, fine wools, and organic silks. In recent years, research has also focused on handcrafted textiles made by hand, through the selection of rare manufactories from different parts of the world.
