Enrico Massetto is a wood carver from Saint-Pierre. Born in 1976, after his diploma at Aosta’s Institute for Applied Arts, he worked as a graphic designer, first in Aosta and later in Milan, where he went on to study at “IED” (European Design Institute). After several years of experience working between advertising and game design, he returned to the Aosta Valley and opened his sculpture workshop, finally pursuing his true passion: today this master sculptor crafts wood-carved objects, decorative elements and panels depicting funny animals and cartoon-style characters. Starting from an initial sketch on paper, he then transfers the design upon a wooden block: each figurine is hand-carved and hand-painted, thus each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind. He also creates brilliant illustrations featuring the same characters.
