After a vocational training in Italy’s best goldsmith schools and ateliers, Franco Blumer established his own workshop in Bergamo Alta.
Since 1978, he has been collaborating with private collectors, relevant museums, Dioceses and Cultural Heritage Agencies, like Milan’s Duomo, Turin’s Museo del Risorgimento and Bergamo’s Curia. Applying the most innovative technologies, Blumer offers his clients his own expertise and ten-year experience in the field of high-end restoration, as well as in-depth research for each intervention.
Also, Blumer’s workshop creates a wide variety of gold, silver and precious stone artworks inspired by religious and secular art, as well as producing exact replicas of moulds, drawings and pictures, based on an in-depth study of manufactures, and the restoration of antique ivory.
