Maya and Denis are two passionate lovers of glass, who have chosen this material for their research on art and design. They met at Vetroricerca Modern&Glass, an international school in Bolzano, where they both acquired excellent technical expertise and a new perspective on formal and artistic experimentation.
Two different cultures and two aesthetically diverging souls merge together in their works. Maya is from São Paulo, Brazil, while Denis comes from Belluno.
Their Glass MaDe workshop came into being in 2013, in Limana, near Belluno, to create a new way of working and conceiving glass, in a territory deeply rooted in local tradition, thus giving life and substance to their own and their clients’ ideas.
