As a young boy, Luigi Italiano started to work as a tailor in his hometown. As a 16-year-old student, he was apprenticed to Commendatore Giovanni La Parola, owner of one of the most prestigious tailor’s shops in Palermo. He completed his studies in tailoring and cutting for men and classic female wear at the Sartotecnica di Milano under the guidance of Maestro Dante Saveri and then opened his own activity in Palermo in 1965 where he still works alongside his son Claudio. Today the atelier creates made to measure men’s suits: from classic to more modern sporting cuts, from evening wear to ceremonial dress, the latter the flagship product of the atelier. For 50 years father and son have continued a tradition based on meticulous attention to detail, care for the client and above all, quality and excellence of fine craftsmanship.
