As a young boy, Luigi Italiano started to work as a tailor in his hometown. As a 16-year-old student, he was apprenticed to Commendatore Giovanni La Parola, owner of one of the most prestigious tailor’s shops in Palermo. He completed his studies in tailoring and cutting for men and classic female wear at the Sartotecnica di Milano under the guidance of Maestro Dante Saveri and then opened his own tailor shop in Palermo in 1965, where he still works alongside his son Claudio, who also started at a very young age in the workshop: today, the first and second generation of the family carry on this tradition together, enhancing a business that has been going on for over 50 years and is based on the utmost attention to detail, customer care, quality and craftsmanship excellence.
Made-to-measure men’s suits are created in the atelier: from classic to more modern sporting cuts, from evening wear to ceremonial dress, the latter the flagship product of the atelier. If the style of the garments is inspired by English tailoring, the quality is Made in Italy: each suit tells the story of the person who will wear it, and must therefore express his personality through every detail, from the choice of colour to the type of fabric. The result is truly unique garments, designed and made especially for the customer.
