L’Aria del Mare is an craft manufacture in the heart of Genoa, a few steps from the old port. Here Laura Senili, an expert ceramist and owner of the business, creates artistic ceramics inspired by the Ligurian sea, together with her daughter Eleonora.
Their is an artistic production that includes plates, vases, kitchen containers and other items for the table, all modelled and decorated by hand, often with the traditional “Blu di Savona” (blue of Savona, a city in Liguria region), or with other shades of the marine world.
From the skilful hands of the two ceramists, the clay takes shape, giving life to unique pieces that can be personalized for every need, or even based on the customers’ designs or requirements. It is possible, for example, to create wedding services, decorated with the monogram of the bride and groom.
Thus, from special occasions to everyday life, L’Aria del Mare ceramics infuse every moment with magic and meaning.
Different collections are available, ranging from classic style in green colours, traditional blue or orange shades, to mediaeval ones, as well as decorations with anchovies and little houses from Genoa.
Each piece is handmade and therefore unique and exclusive.
